Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established accountancy firm in Southeast London to recruit a Personal or Mixed Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while working within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities of the Personal/Mixed Tax Manager:
  • Manage a portfolio of owner-managed business (OMB) and private client clients, delivering proactive and practical tax advice.
  • Oversee preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation.
  • Advise clients on tax planning, reliefs, and business restructuring opportunities.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
  • Liaise with HMRC and other external stakeholders, attending client meetings as required.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the practice through business development initiatives.
Skills & Experience of the Personal/Mixed Tax Manager:
  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified.
  • Proven experience in a tax-focused role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate taxation.
  • Experience managing client relationships and supervising junior staff.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and commercial awareness skills.
