Sheridan Maine are recruiting a Financial Controller for a highly profitable and growing SME business based near Bournemouth and Poole.
 
Due to the growth of the company, they now require an experienced, commercially driven Financial Controller to join the business and help them take it to the next level of growth and development. We are looking at Temp to Perm or straight Permanent options for this role. 
 
This role will report into the Finance Director and Board, Key elements of this exciting role are:

• Production of detailed Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts
• Preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to include cashflow
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager maintaining efficient operation of the Warehouse Management Systems
• Act as Stock Controller in managing all aspects of Stock Control
• Setting costing standards and reviewing the effectiveness
• Control and manage the Sales Order Book
• Managing the complex and wide covering insurance arrangements
• Play a pivotal role in enhancing current business systems, processes and procedures

• Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Accountant or Equivalent
• Familiarity with working for a family or SME business and knowledge of Sage software would be very beneficial.
• Strong team working, excellent analytical ability
• Able to make positive changes to processes and procedures
• Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills.
