A new and exclusive Finance and Office Administrator opportunity has arisen for an expanding business based in Basingstoke. The position will be joining a friendly team and would suit an individual who is keen to develop their accounting and business administration skills in a thriving organisation. 
 
Reporting the Finance Director, the role will be responsible for a range of duties including:
 

  • Sales invoicing and credit control
  • Purchase ledger
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Stock reconciliations
  • Fixed asset maintenance
  • Accruals / prepayments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing payments
  • Provide quotes and deal with purchasing requests
  • Handling import and export documentation
  • Monthly reporting
  • Managing timesheets and HR records

The desired candidate will have the following skills and experience:
 
  • Some prior accounting / office administration experience
  • An interest in wanting to study towards an accounting qualification such as AAT (not essential)
  • An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Friendly and positive manner
  • Able to use own initiaitive
  • Ability to multitask and manage a variety of duties 

In return the company will provide study support, car parking, pension and 25 days holiday.
