Our client, situated in northern Hampshire, is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Financial Controller within their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large multisite organisation in an interesting and varied role.
Responsibilities of the Financial Controller include:
Lead and mentor a large finance team.
Oversee all aspects of financial control and management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective control measures.
Responsible for the successful completion of the annual external audit.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the development of finance systems and processes.
The successful Financial Controller will require:
Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Proven experience in a team leadership role.
Possess strong technical skills with good knowledge of financial controls and processes.
Experienced of ERP systems.
