Finance Assistant/Assistant Accountant - Rugby (Full-time office)

Our client

A West Midlands based manufacturing business is looking to hire a new Finance Assistant to join their growing finance function.

The Role
In this role you will assist the Finance Manager in managing and processing numerous transactions and accounts. 

• Monthly cashbook postings and reconciliations
• Monthly general ledger journals, accruals, prepayments
• Assist with quarterly VAT returns
• Sales ledger review and invoicing
• Purchase ledger accounting

• Excellent mathematical skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel/SAP/Oracle
• Customer service skills
• Ability to travel into the office 5 days a week
