The Company
Our Redditch based business is a cash generative growing group of companies. They are encountering another period of change and are now looking to strengthen their finance team . They are seeking to hire a high quality Group Accountant to pull together  the finances of the group  but also much more..
Duties
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be expected to take the lead on all aspects group finance for the business. Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the accuracy of group consolidation activities and that all data is precise and meeting the designated timetable
• Assist the Head of Finance in producing the group information and tax numbers
• Oversee the statutory accounts procedure for the involved business
• Ensure Tax compliance is adhered to
• Manage internal audits of group companies checking for compliance with group procedures

• ACCA or ACA qualified
• The client would welcome applications from first or second time movers from practice
• Candidates with exposure in a similar role within a group are also welcome to apply
• You will very likely have a good working knowledge of IFRS
• Have experience with group finance systems
