Credit Controller
Meriden, Coventry
£25,200 OTE
 
Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with a market-leading, national, reputable brand are looking for a Credit Controller to join their head office team near Coventry. Due to growth a further credit controller is required to join the already well-established team near Coventry and proximity to the NEC.
The Role
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, as a credit controller your duties will be to provide credit control services to all company customers, as well as:

• Regular contact with peers, clients, and suppliers outside the company to collect outstanding debts quickly and efficiently before legalities need to be instigated
• Account reconciliation
• Collect monies from designated accounts by telephone, correspondence, fax, or email
• Generating reports for senior management as required
• Resolving disputes on invoices by liaising with the branches and clients
• Evaluate when accounts need to move into legal situation
• Account reconciliation

• IT Literacy: Excel, Word, and various bespoke packages.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous credit control experience is essential, ideally in a medium to large organisation.
• The ability to prioritise tasks anticipating difficulties and making contingency plans to recover debts.

• £24,000 basic plus bonus OTE £25,200
