Commercial Finance Manager  - £60k -£70k - Hybrid Working – Solihull

The Company
We are delighted be partnering with a reputable multi -site retail business based in Solihull . This growing business is now moving to a new stage in its development and  seeks an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to bolster the commercial finance team.
 
Duties
Reporting to the Finance Director the role will take ownership of budget ,forecasting and deep dive analysis for all the stores . You will also be expected to lead/ mentor a small finance team and business partner key stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

• Production  of forecasts and analysing  how the net profit figure can be defended and improved.
• Production  and circulation  of monthly P&L’s and commentaries by location
• Business Partnering with Operations Managers providing challenge and push back on performance
• Monitoring  KPI's and providing analysis and insight how trading can be maintained and improved
• Production of financial modelling with varying scenarios to improve decision making
• Margin Champion for the business with continuous analysis and attention to this area
• Lead and mentor small commercial finance team consisting of individuals at varying levels of qualification

• ACMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• Track record commercial finance exposure ideally in multi- site environment
• Business partnering expertise and working with senior stakeholders
• Strong Financial planning and analysis background able to provide budgets forecasts and in depth analysis
• Exposure to retail, logistics or a heavily eCommerce driven environment would be useful
• Experience with improving business information, providing insight and better dashboards
