The Role
Primarily responsible for the Cash Accounting function, which itself looks after the processing and reconciliation of high volume, multi-currency cash and bank transactions, you will lead and support the five strong Cash Team in the delivery of key activities including daily cash postings, corporate bank and cash in transit reconciliations. 
You will recommend and implement changes to solve problems and drive improvements for cash reporting, and you'll lead investigations into unreconciled cash this will involve building solid relationships with colleagues across Finance as well as external stakeholders such as banks.

The person

  • Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or QBE 
  • Experience of cash accounting in a large, high-volume, multi-currency cash or treasury environment
  • Leadership experience
  • Proactive, problem solver mindset with strong communication skills
  • Adaptable and flexible, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
This role is a priority hire, so suitable applicants with a short notice period or immediately available will be of particular interest, although candidates with longer notice periods shouldn't be discouraged from applying.
A well embedded hybrid working culture exists, with 2 days in the office, the remainder working remotely. 
Salary to £50k, 15% bonus, 15% bonus, health and life cover, 5% pension.
