Assistant Audit Manager required for a leading Accountancy Practice Firm based near Warwick
Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-regarded Accountancy and Business Advisory Firm who are looking for an Assistant Audit Manager. The Firm work with a variety of sectors providing support, advice and solutions on all financial areas to guarantee their clients' businesses thrive.
As the Assistant Audit Manager, you will be handling a portfolio of clients, providing support to Partners, growing relationships with clients and being the key point of contact. Through this you will develop a robust commercial appreciation of the clients' businesses and be able to pinpoint business and sales openings with new clients. Functioning across a number of sectors endorsing the correctness of clients' financial statements, ensuring stability and authenticity of the financials..
What We Are Looking For
- Lead on planning assignments, taking ownership for achieving agreed budgets and meeting deadlines.
- Producing objectives for junior audit staff and supervising them on site, including reviewing their audit work and coaching on-the-job
- Careful liaison with audit clients and other stakeholders, building long-term relationships for the future benefit of the firm
- Oversee your teams production and preparation of accounts for business of various sizes from OMBs to AIM listed clients.
- Conduct staff appraisals
This Firm is looking for the successful Auditor to be ACCA/ACA qualified with experience of managing people and a working knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS financial reporting requirements.What’s On Offer
