Sheridan Maine are currently working with a well-established and successful business services company based within the Stoke-On-Trent.

The company

The business carry an innovative and supportive approach which makes them a company of choice. As a market leading organisation they are looking to grow their Finance department by recruiting a Finance Assistant.

The role

  • Partaking in Sales ledger duties
  • Credit Control duties including, chasing aged debt, sending out invoices and chasing via phone and email
  • Bank reconciliation
  • A good understanding of Purchase Ledger duties including BACS or cheque payments, generating codes and checking invoices
  • Assisting in the year end audits

Person specification

  • Previous experience as a Finance Assistant
  • Carry a methodical approach
  • Able to analyse data thoroughly
