Key responsibilities as the Financial Controller:
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the finance function, including the management of a large team.
  • Direct the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the external audit.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to guide business strategy.
  • Produce and present regular financial statements to support business decision-making.
  • Oversee cash management, financial risk, treasury operations, and tax matters.
  • Maintain financial controls, enhance financial systems and processes.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
The successful Financial Controller will:
  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Have proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
  • Strong Technical knowledge including statutory accounting, financial reporting, audit management and internal controls.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Be confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Possess strong systems knowledge and can demonstrate process improvement skills.
