Treasury Accountant

Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Treasury Accountant for a global corporation within Hampshire. This newly created position will be part of a long standing team where the candidate will be reporting into the Treasury Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks: 
 

• Preparation of financial reporting for interim and annual statutory accounting
• Cash Flow Reporting and Forecasting
• Act as the primary treasury contact for external auditors during year-end and interim audits
• Coordinate internal audit activity across treasury
• Design, test, monitor, and review treasury operational controls in line with internal self-assurance standards
• Streamline and automate treasury reporting using systems and technology
• Risk management – knowledge of interest rate, FX and credit risk

 
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong analytical and IT skills – Advanced Excel
• Experience in cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
• Ability to communicate to finance concepts non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
