Credit Controller

Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established organisation in central Bristol that is looking to appoint a skilled Credit Controller on a permanent basis. This role will sit within a collaborative finance team and play a key part in maintaining strong cash flow and client relationships.

The responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:

• Taking ownership of a varied ledger of client accounts
• Chasing outstanding balances and ensuring payments are received within agreed terms
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, developing positive working relationships
• Investigating and resolving billing and account queries
• Agreeing and monitoring payment arrangements where necessary
• Carrying out regular account reconciliations

The successful candidate will already have proven experience in a credit control or similar accounts receivable role and be comfortable working independently. A solid working knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level is required.
