Sheridan Maine is delighted to be supporting a growing business in Bournemouth as they look to welcome a Payroll Officer to their team. What you’ll be doing:
- Processing monthly payroll
- Handling pensions, overtime, commission, sickness, holidays and leavers
- Liaising with the HR team to ensure all pay changes are captured correctly
- Administering pension schemes and ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment
- Preparing and submitting HMRC returns (PAYE, NI etc.)
- Producing payroll reports to support finance and management
- Acting as first point of contact for all payroll queries
What we’re looking for:
- An experienced Payroller with 2–3 years’ experience
- Solid knowledge of PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments
- Confident using payroll software
- Organised, detail-focused and able to hit monthly deadlines
- Excellent communicator with a discreet, professional approach
