Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions.
Prepare basic financial statements, reports, and budgets using Xero.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Oversee payroll, liaise with accountants, and coordinate with staff.
Handle bookkeeping activities, presenting findings to management.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
Completion of VAT returns.
Maintain the balance sheet.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
Support staff with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
The successful Finance Manager will possess:
Previous experience in bookkeeping or finance-related roles is advantageous.
Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
