Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a fast-growing Tech organisation based in central London. We are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team and help drive key financial processes across a global group structure.
Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include, but not limited to:
Prepare and manage the Group’s consolidated financial statements, covering multiple entities and currencies.
Oversee intercompany eliminations and improve group consolidation processes.
Manage group-wide matters such as revenue validation, fixed assets, provisions, and accruals.
Ensure data integrity in the consolidation system and assist with interim and year-end financial reports.
Support tax, legal, and treasury teams with long-term planning and working capital management.
Perform analysis and provide insights to senior management.
Act as the primary point of expertise for accounting, overseeing IFRS compliance and maintaining the Group Reporting Manual.
Advise on technical accounting issues, ensuring practical solutions that align with commercial needs.
Support complex areas like goodwill, impairment testing, and M&A transactions.
Provide training on technical matters across the Group’s finance community.
The successful Financial Accountant will require the following skills and qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Proven experience in financial accounting, ideally within a multi-entity, international group. Tech industry experience is an advantage.
Experience with group consolidations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Proficiency in financial systems and consolidation tools.
