We are excited to offer an opportunity in Central London for a Finance Manager to join our client's team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This position is ideal for a qualified finance professional seeking to advance their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing end-to-end accounting practices while overseeing the Management Accountant and Accounts Payable functions of the group.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include, but will not be limited to:
Manage the Accounts Team, including AP, AR, and Management Accountants
Prepare monthly financial reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow
Oversee AP and AR functions, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
Ensure data accuracy in the accounting system
Process payroll and approve expenses
Perform credit card analysis and complete VAT returns
Maintain strong team communication and development
Enhance system processes for efficiency
Ensure timely and accurate audit information
Complete annual tax filings
Support annual budgeting and forecasting
The successful Finance Manager will require the following skills and experience:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
6 years of experience, preferably within the Hospitality industry, with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
Must have experience authorising payroll
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with NetSuite Finance is advantageous
Familiarity with Concur (Expenses) is beneficial
This is a hybrid role that requires being in the office 4 days a week, with the option to work from home on the last Friday of every month.
