Sheridan Maine is managing the recruitment of a Finance Officer for a forward-thinking organisation. This position is being offered on a fixed term contract for 6 months and would ideally suit someone who has experience of working in a transactional processing environment.
The successful candidate will be working remotely, with travel once a month to one of their offices.
Responsibilities of the Finance Operations Officer will include:
Processing and allocating payments
Issuing sales ledger invoices
Receiving, posting and reconciling income and posting to customer accounts
Issuing reminders and chasing outstanding debt
Processing refunds
Resolving queries relating to customer accounts
Direct debit administration
Posting of write-offs onto the systems
Supporting internal departments by providing accounts information when required
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience working in a transactional processing environment
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to organise and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and time management skills
