Job Details
Sheridan Maine are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a dynamic company on a a contract basis. This role is an initial 6 months with the possibility of being extended and will be wokring for a leading business based in Reading.
Duties of the position include:
Daily completion of all bank reconciliations
Using processes to automate the reconciliations process
Posting payments on to the accounting system
Pro-actively monitor, investigate and resolve reconciled transactions
Ownership of monthly tasks including updating journals, and ensuring deadlines are met
Assisting with other tasks when necessary
Requirements:
Intermediate Excel user
Experience using accountancy systems
Strong organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met
Experience working in a busy accountancy environment
Able to work on your own initiative
The company is accessible by public transport and parking is available on site. They also offer hybrid working.
