Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to further your career in finance? Sheridan Maine is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Assistant to join a dynamic and growing organisation based in Bristol. Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Assistant will include:

  • Efficiently process invoices, credit cards, and expenses to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Generate and analyse reports on company spend to provide valuable insights to management.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure all required actions are completed on time and support various departments as needed.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and AP sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
  • Help the finance team where required, contributing to overall team success.
To be considered for the role of Accounts Payable Assistant, you will require:
  • Ideally have previously worked in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Passionate about automating and refining processes.
