Sheridan Maine is thrilled to collaborate with a pioneer of its industry, assisting in the quest for a vibrant finance professional to step into the role of Manager of Accounting Operations – EMEA.
 
As Manager of Accounting Operations - EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in our client's Finance team, directly supporting operations in the EMEA region. You'll collaborate closely with Corporate Controlling, Corporate Treasury, and other finance departments based in the US to ensure seamless financial operations across the region. This role is integral to our client's success as they continue to expand and grow their presence in EMEA. 
 
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Financial Accounting and Audit processes, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable, resolving payment and collection issues.
  • Direct Inventory accounting and reporting, optimising customer delivery while managing working capital.
  • Lead financial report preparation and analysis, supporting management decisions.
  • Assist in budget development, providing financial data and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on local financial regulations and industry trends.
  • Supervise and mentor staff accountants.
 
To be considered for the role of Manager of Accounting Operations – EMEA:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered Financial Accountant certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and regions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting demanding deadlines for accounting closure and reporting.
