The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing insightful monthly analysis, managing rolling and quarterly forecasts, and assisting the FP&A Manager in executing the annual budget and strategic plan.

Responsibilities of the Senior FP&A Analyst will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Assume responsibility for monthly group analysis of performance, including crafting monthly Board packs
  • Conduct thorough analysis of key drivers of contribution
  • Examine cost variances across drivers such as inflation, procurement savings, and productivity/efficiency
  • Perform operational analysis of activity performance per business KPI to gauge productivity enhancements aligned with the company's strategic roadmap
  • Oversee the monthly cost pack for engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Deliver value-enhanced, insightful variance analysis and commentaries with robust business engagement
  • Take charge of rolling and quarterly forecasts, as well as managing the annual budget cycle and 3-year plan
  • Enhance profitability analysis and insights
  • Develop capabilities for tracking benefits to support investment appraisals and ROI analysis
  • Enhance analysis to offer a comprehensive understanding of the P&L to the executive team
  • Support the development of forecasting tools and the automation of Management Information (MI)
 
The successful Senior FP&A Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA (or equivalent) – Desirable
  • Effective communicator adept at business partnering and supporting senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in cost and profitability analysis
  • Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Well-organised with the capacity to multitask, plan, and prioritise workloads
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Preferable familiarity with QlikView and PowerBI
  • Innate IT curiosity and comfort with IT systems
  • Enthusiastic about process improvement
