Sheridan Maine is collaborating with our client who is based in Weymouth to recruit for a Finance Analyst, the successful candidate will join a welcoming and supportive team environment within the finance department.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the flexibility of 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office. Additionally, study support is available for your professional development.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the compilation of reports and accounting.
Maintenance of the general ledger.
Processing and recording financial data.
Working closely with the FP&A team.
Ensuring accurate and timely posting to give the correct period results.
Monthly intercompany reconciliations.
Supporting the year end audit.
Developing and refining procedures.
To be considered for the role of Finance Analyst, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Part qualified or studying toward an accounting qualification.
Intermediate Excel skills for effective data management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
Experience in a similar accounting position.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
