A new opportunity has arisen within an established business in central Basingstoke, who are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their busy head office.
The role of Management Accountant will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including:
Overseeing the purchase ledger and supplier payments
Accruals and prepayments
Processing staff expenses
Posting journals
Balance sheet reconciliations
Producing and distributing the monthly management accounts pack
Provide variance analysis and commentary
Oversee the bank accounts and perform weekly reconciliations
VAT Returns
Undertake detailed financial analysis and produce reports
Budgeting and forecasting
To be considered for the role, you must have the following skills and experience:
Excellent analytical skills
Good communication, both written and verbally
Strong Excel skills
Part or fully quailified AAT or similar such as CIMA / ACCA
Able to work well in a small team
Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
The company are accessible by public transport and have free car parking onsite.
