A large services business based near Portsmouth is recruiting a Finance Systems Analyst to work in the Finance Systems team who own and maintain the finance systems for the business and are responsible for delivering innovation to provide improved functionality, data integrity and security. The Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for driving the financial controls for all finance systems, ensuring continuous improvement of the control and governance framework.
The key responsibilities of the Finance Systems Analyst are:-
Identifying, assessing and managing financial controls for all finance systems
Working closely with business process owners and IT to ensure adequate controls are in place, tested and monitored
Develop and maintain financial control documentation
Work with Financial Control & Governance Lead and IT to support internal control walkthroughs and/ or external audits
The ideal candidate will have:-
A good knowledge of systems controls
Experience in performing systems and risk controls testing
Strong documentation skills, managing action plans, workshops and projects
The company offer an excellent working environment as well as hybrid working of just one day a week in the office.
