A fantastic new Assistant Accountant role has arisen for a growing business based in central Reading, seeking an AAT studier looking to progress and develop their accounting skills within a fast paced organisation.
Key duties of the role will include:
Processing accounts payable and receivable invoices
Reconciling customer and supplier accounts
Performing daily bank reconciliations
Contacting customers to ensure timely payments for invoices
Posting journals
Accruals & prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with audit queries
Skills and experience required includes:
Someone actively studying AAT qualifications
Sound foundation of accounting knowledge such as debits & credits
Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player
Some prior experience of working within an accounting role
Intermediate excel skills
