My client is an international award-winning consultancy organisation based in London. They are currently looking for a Group Tax Compliance & Senior Reporting Manager who will play a key role in supporting the group tax function.  
 
The individual will assume responsibility for the group tax accounting and reporting and will lead several other key work streams of the tax function including automation of the tax provisioning process.
 
Responsibilities of the Group Tax Compliance & Senior Reporting Manger will include:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of group tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns and payments.
  • Spearhead the timely delivery of Group consolidated tax reporting on a quarterly and annual basis, including the annual tax reporting for UK standalone financial statements.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports and statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with project leads to assist with system implementations and contribute to the integration of new technology solutions and processes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the tax and reporting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Maintain and update the group tax risk register, assessing the impact and likelihood of potential assessments. Coordinate with the Group Head of Tax and regional tax managers to align on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with the UK Corporate Tax Manager to manage the Group Tax cash tax forecast, providing regular updates to the Head of Treasury and Group Head of Tax.
 
The successful Group Tax Compliance & Senior Reporting Manager:
  • ACA and CTA qualified.
  • Strong background in UK GAAP or IFRS tax accounting and reporting and in leading compliance processes within a multinational context.
  • Experience with implementing tax accounting or tax compliance technology solutions.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational and communication skills.
