A Central Bristol-based organisation is presently in search of an Accounts Assistant to cover maternity leave on a Fixed Term Contract. The role is scheduled to commence in April and conclude around March 2025. The successful candidate will be required to be in the office 4 days a week with 1 day working from home.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the Accounts Manager
  • Meticulously handling all aspects of the company’s accounting and bookkeeping using Xero and Excel
  • Purchase ledger associated tasks

The successful Accounts Assistant will require the following skills and experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Possession of AAT or an equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience
  • Proficiency in utilising Xero Software and Excel
  • A meticulous and detail-oriented work ethic
  • Exceptional numerical proficiency
