Job Details
Sheridan Maine is working collaborating closely with a leading and expanding manufacturing business located in Dorchester in search of a part-qualified Accountant equipped with a robust knowledge of accounting systems and controls.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and posses commercial mindset, with key duties encompassing:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Assist in generating accurate management reports to facilitate decision making processes
Oversight of cash flow reporting
Execution of weekly payment runs
Monitoring and reporting actual vs budget
Handling VAT returns
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Part qualified in accounting (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proven experience working in a similar role
Strong prioritisation skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines
Comprehensive understanding of management accounts
Excellent proficiency in data analysis
