Sheridan Maine is delighted to present an exciting opportunity with one of our esteemed clients. Our client, a prominent industry leader, is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Finance Analyst to join their ranks and contribute to the forecasting and planning of their digital platform revenue streams.
 
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be an integral part of the financial planning and analysis team, tasked with shaping the financial trajectory of our client's digital platforms. This role is not just about numbers; it's about influencing strategic decisions and driving business growth through insightful financial analysis.
 
Your responsibilities as the Senior Finance Analyst will include but are not limited to:

• Own and lead the forecasting process for digital platform revenue streams, utilising your expertise to deliver accurate and timely results.
• Provide invaluable financial insights to the commercial teams, empowering them to make informed decisions that positively impact the business.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to project future.
• Update quarterly and year-end outturn files to track against forecast and Budget targets, ensuring material changes are reflected, and the driving factors for these changes are understood and challenged where necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the Digital team, offering end-to-end support and analysis as needed to enhance processes.
• Deliver monthly updates on Budget and forecast performance, succinctly communicating progress against quarterly and annual targets. Encourage teams to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Evolve analytics to enhance KPI tracking and improve information sharing with the Digital team. Explore automation opportunities to streamline processes.
• Evaluate actual results against budget, forecast, and prior year, providing insightful variance commentary through ongoing dialogue with the business.
• Support Analyst in preparing month-end accrued and deferred income balance sheet positions, and quarter end disclosures.
• Ad-hoc analysis and project work as required by the business.
• Proactively drive initiatives and take ownership as a champion for data and systems, striving to enhance processes, improve systems, and streamline data management to eliminate manual tasks.

• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
• Significant experience of working in a finance business partnering role.
• Financial planning background.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Experience of digital platforms such as YouTube is desirable but not essential.
