Sheridan Maine, in partnership with an award-winning and high-growth SME located in Solihull, is currently in search of an ambitious Finance Manager. This role presents an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic organisation, where success is driven by innovation, collaboration, and a people-focused culture.
 
As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the company's financial success. Your responsibilities include providing support and financial insight to enhance decision-making, optimising overall company performance, and leading the finance team.
 
Your key duties will include:

  • Deliver complete and accurate financial data ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Provide insight to the business, ensuring a clear understanding of performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Take ownership and completion of the monthly management accounts pack to include Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash flow analysis with full reconciliations and production of monthly pack on a timely basis.
  • Contract analysis and KPI reporting.
  • Assist in production of annual financial statements.
  • Provide and co-ordinate information for all external auditors.
  • Ensure monthly accurate reconciliation of confidential invoice discounting facility.
  • Drive cash flow to maximise available cash.
 
To be considered for the position of Finance Manager, you will require:
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, with a strong track record of success.
  • The ability to influence and communicate effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Sage Line 50.
