Sheridan Maine is excited to partner with a rapidly growing boutique Financial Services business based in Central London. Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Management Accountant to join their talented finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified ACA accountant with a background in audit practice or industry, particularly within Financial Services or property investment.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

  • Maintain financial books and records and prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for the group companies.
  • Maintain fixed asset register.
  • Preparation of month end accounts supporting schedules.
  • Manage and develop all aspects of purchase authorisation and payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts for various group companies.
  • Implement and maintain strong financial controls and systems.
  • Operate payment systems and online banking procedures.
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns.
  • Liaise with payroll provider on monthly changes.
  • Assist Head of Finance with loan accounting related reconciliations.
  • Check accuracy of customer redemption statements.
  • Provide cover for Head of Finance.
 
The successful Management Accountant:
  • Newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
  • Strong technical accounting skills.
  • Keen to work for a rapidly expanding business in a high-growth industry.
  • Highly numerate and excellent attention to detail.
 
Working Arrangements:
  • Hybrid working model, with Mondays and Fridays worked from home.
  • Central London office location.
