Job Details

A national company based in North Hampshire have entrusted Sheridan Maine to assist them with the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join their busy accounts team.
 
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Sales and Purchase ledger
  • Credit control
  • Month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Fixed asset maintenance
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Posting journals
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Authorising payments from the bank
  • Prepayments and accruals
This long term contract role (12 months) requires an individual with a wide range of accounting skills who has worked in a similar position or is part/ fully qualified AAT. A competent level of IT skills are required and prior knowledge of Sage would be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, be a good team player and highly organised.
