Sheridan Maine is currently working with a Practice based near Central Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Practice Accountant on a permanent basis and be a senior figure.

Our client is a well-established SME who is seeking a Practice Accountant to join and manage all ends of the accounts function.

Your responsibilities as the Practice Accountant will include:

Working in a friendly environment as a Practice Accountant your job will entail a number of duties and in a fast paced work environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to utilise their experience.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Full Accounts preparation
• VAT Returns
• Query reports
• Post journals
• Accruals
• Intercompany reconciliations

 
The successful Practice Accountant will require the following skills and experience:

The ideal candidate will be experienced in previous roles and ideally have a similar background. The ideal candidate must:

• Be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or nearly qualified
• Have the ability to put a set of accounts together
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Self-starter

 
What is on offer?

A salary between £27,000 - £30,000 p/a alongside; 

• 20 days Holiday entitlement + Stats
