“Partner up to produce meaning and value.” Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a dynamic business services organisation. We are presently in search of a skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to become a valuable member of their team.
In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Controlling, holding a crucial position in overseeing and reporting the financial aspects of delivery units in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner will include:
Cultivating strong relationships with senior managers and teams, analysing key variances during month-end closures, and reporting on financial drivers impacting delivery unit productivity
Reviewing business owners' contract performance, managing monthly financial deliverables within group deadlines, and providing ongoing support to managers in achieving financial objectives
Coordinating annual training, conducting financial modelling for contracts, and collaborating across functions to enhance financial processes and controls
Working closely with the Head of Controlling on business proposals, while identifying and flagging business risks and emphasising cost control and governance
The successful Senior Finance Business Partner will possess:
Completion of a full Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years' experience in FP&A or similar positions
Prior exposure to diverse pricing and cost allocation models
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and establish robust relationships
Leadership background, demonstrating the ability to manage and cultivate high-performing teams
Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced knowledge of various functions and formulas
Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid working role, with 2-3 days expected at the Richmond-based office. The organisation is committed to providing a flexible and supportive work environment.
