Sheridan Maine are supporting a family run nationwide organisation, who due to rapid growth are seeking a Head of Finance to join their Head Office near Weymouth, Dorset.
We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance, or Financial Controller, who will lead an large office-based Finance team. The role reports directly to our Group Finance Director, who sits on the board of the main Group, and as Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in re-shaping and developing the Finance Team.
You will oversee a predominately transactional team, covering Payroll, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Management Accounts. So training and nurturing will really be a key part of this role, as will a desire to drive process and compliance.
With over 40 legal entities, we are seeking a Head of Finance who is familiar with multi-level consolidations and complex group structures. You will have managed, or at least participated in, group audits and ideally would have recently been though a system implementation. Experience of integrating acquisitions would be a bonus.
