Sheridan Maine is partnering with an organisation based in Swindon to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst for their team. The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Accountant with proficiency in QlikView and PowerBI. This is a great opportunity for a Finance Professional looking to advance their career in a fast-paced organisation offering hybrid working.

Your responsibilities as the Senior FP&A Analyst will include:

  • Monthly group analysis, including Board pack preparation
  • Detailed analysis of contribution drivers and cost variances
  • Operational performance analysis for productivity gains
  • Monthly cost pack management for senior stakeholders
  • Value-added variance analysis and insightful commentaries
  • Oversight of rolling forecasts, quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and 3-year plan
  • Enhanced profitability analysis and benefits tracking
  • Ad-hoc analysis for Group/FP&A Managers and the CFO
  • Deeper P&L understanding for the executive team
  • Support for forecasting tools and MI automation
  • Direct report management
 
The successful Senior FP&A Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent
  • Effective communicator with a proven record in business partnering and supporting senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in cost and profitability analysis
  • Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organisational abilities, adept at multitasking, planning, and prioritising workloads
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Preferable knowledge of QlikView and PowerBI
  • Comfortable with IT systems
  • Enthusiastic about process improvement
