This is a permanent position which offers a hybrid working pattern – 1 day WFH and 4 days in the office which is based near Dorchester.
 
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant include:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly group reporting.
• Generating monthly cost centre reviews, budget versus actuals versus forecast.
• Accurately compiling substantial amounts of data to provide meaningful commentary and explanations for variations from budget.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Allocating cash receipts.
• Verifying and processing expenses.
• Managing profit and loss statements.
• Offering ad-hoc analysis and internal reporting for the senior finance team.

• Strong IT skills including intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Proactive and confident attitude with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
