Sheridan Maine is recruiting for an accomplished and ambitious Management Accountant to join the Group finance team and contribute to the delivery of professional services for the business. 
 
Our client fosters a friendly and positive work culture and adheres to a hybrid working policy allowing for 4 days of remote work and 1 day (every 2 weeks) at their office in Poole.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with annual statutory accounts
• Preparing budgets and forecasts
• Collaborating with budget holders and stakeholders as a business partner
• Managing, supporting and developing a small team of Assistant Management Accountants
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing journals
• Providing variance analysis
• Handling reporting and other analytical tasks
• Investigating financial systems and rectifying errors

• Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
• Collaborative problem solving approach
• Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to establish and build relationships across the business
• Highly organised and have impeccable attention to detail
