Our client is a leader in their industry and is known for their commitment to innovation, excellence, and employee development. Due to a period of significant growth, they are currently seeking a Fund Accountant for their dynamic team based in Covent Garden, London.
 
This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the financial success of a well-established investment firm.
 
Responsibilities of the Fund Accountant will include:

  • Coordination and supervision of the fund accounting process, working in partnership with the fund administrators to produce accurate and timely information
  • Work with fund administrators and external auditors for successful and timely completion of the annual audits
  • Assisting with the build out of controls and procedures
  • Assisting with forecasting of liquidity requirements for fund entities
  • Ensure compliance with bank covenant’s and completing covenant reporting
  • Develop an understanding of funds and investment holding structures and ensure these are maintained correctly
  • Oversee and streamline the tax compliance process, including the coordination and review of corporate income tax and VAT returns for fund entities
  • Ad-hoc internal and external reporting requests
 
The successful Fund Accountant will have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA), first time passes preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Self-driven flexible person that can identify risks/areas requiring attention and solve them
