Our client, a rapidly growing and highly profitable private equity backed business, is looking to recruit a qualified, commercially astute Divisional Finance Director to join the division reporting directly into the Divisional MD with a dotted reporting line to the Group CFO.

The Client:
This division, part of a £1 billion t/o Group, comprises of a number of brands, with a collective turnover of circa £300m. There is an exciting organic growth opportunity within the division which will require you to provide robust and integral guidance in realising these opportunities.

The Role:
As Divisional Finance Director you will need to liaise regularly with the Divisional Directors and the Management team, as well as with the Group CFO and Group Financial Controller. It is the client’s expectation that the role holder will ensure absolute compliance with audit requirements, HMRC/tax requirements, credit insurance management, completion and submission of statutory accounts & banking. This position requires high commercial/entrepreneurial knowledge, supporting the wider business with commercial decision support and to assess risk in new/developing commercial opportunities.

Attributes and Experience:
You will be confident and proven in finance leadership as well as in supporting commercial initiatives within business. The ideal candidate should:

• Be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Be experienced in a similar size business or division within a multi-site manufacturing or logistics business
• Have exposure to Commercial and operational finance
• Have worked in an acquisitive environment
• Have an influential and collaborative leadership style
