Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading organisation based in Reading who are seeking a part qualified accountant for the role of Commercial Finance Analyst.
 
This interesting role, will offer commercial exposure to the wider business and potentially exciting job career opportunities in the future!
 
Working within the head office finance team, duties of the role will include;
 
Producing accurate monthly management accounts
Reviewing P&L accounts and supporting variance analysis
Providing insightful financial reporting using tools such as Power BI and excel
Attending meetings with cost centre managers and budget holders
Undertake complex data analysis and present information
Performing complex balance sheet reconciliations
Working with the business to help identify business growth opportunities
 
To be considered for the role, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
 
Part qualified or actively studying ACCA / CIMA / ACA
Prior management accounts experience
Advanced IT skills including Excel
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders
Strong team player but also able to work on own initiative
Inquisitive and commercial mindset
