Sheridan Maine is proud to represent an esteemed professional services organisation located in the heart of Bristol.  Due to substantial recent growth, our client has created a fresh role within its expanding and high-performing finance team. They are seeking a Part Qualified Finance Analyst to join their team and contribute to their continued success.
 
The Role:
In collaboration with the Group Treasurer, your primary responsibilities will revolve around cash and liquidity management. This includes the development of longer-term cashflow forecasts that play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's broader strategic initiatives. Over time, you will progressively assume the responsibility of overseeing liquidity across all global business units, forging strong partnerships with local teams to ensure optimal financial management.
 
Your responsibilities as the Finance Analyst will include:

• Assist the Treasury Manager in daily cash management, including monitoring cash balances and forecasting cash requirements
• Prepare cash flow projections to effectively manage liquidity
• Collaborate with local finance teams across the globe to ensure efficient fund transfers and liquidity management
• Analyse and report on financial data, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement
• Assist in the development and implementation of cash management processes and policies
• Provide support for financial reporting and analysis as needed
• Ad-hoc tasks pertaining to the Group budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning process

• Part or newly qualified ACA accountant, ideally from ‘Big 4’
• Technically strong
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
