Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with our forward thinking, dynamic and continually growing organisation, to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant.  This role is primarily remote, with the successful candidate expected to be present in the office based in Poole approximately three times per month. 
 
Your responsibilities as the Assistant Management Accountant will include:

• Assist with the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Support the preparation of financial reports for budget holders and other stakeholders
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Journal processing
• Variance analysis
• Ensuring all deadlines are met
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
• External returns and reporting

• Ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards full accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience of working as part of a financial reporting team
• Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
