Sheridan Maine is partnering with a renowned and vibrant business located in the heart of Central London that is seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivables Assistant.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts payable and receivables processes.
 
Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable & Receivables Assistant will include:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Support the accounts receivables function by reconciling customer accounts and ensuring timely collections
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and verify invoice details
  • Maintain organised and accurate financial records
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and reports as required
 
To be considered for the role of Accounts Payable and Receivables Assistant, you will need:
  • Previous experience in an accounts payable and/or receivables role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
