Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a reputable business located in Bristol to find a talented Finance Assistant specialising in Purchase Ledger.
 
This role primarily focuses on purchase ledger - you will have complete ownership and responsibility for the whole Purchase Ledger function, but also offers the unique opportunity to contribute to various other duties within the broader finance function.  This is a fantastic role that offers a hybrid working arrangement.
 
Your responsibilities as the Finance Assistant will include:

• Setting up new suppliers
• Entering purchase invoices into the ERP system
• Processing payments through the online banking system
• Entering daily bank transactions into the ERP system
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Collaborating with suppliers and other departments to deal with enquiries and resolving issues
• Assisting the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks and providing support as needed
