Sheridan Maine is proud to be partnering an established and esteemed organisation based in the Reading area. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its dynamic team.
As the Senior Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of tax compliance and planning for a portfolio of clients.
Your responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:
Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering their growth and development
Be a key point of contact to clients regarding tax matters
Provision of tax expertise knowledge to clients and other stakeholders
Managing the preparation and review of tax returns, including corporate tax, VAT, and other relevant filings
Managing service delivery regarding tax related matters
Conducting research and staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Leading on implementing client related projects
Building and expanding a network of business contacts, including clients, industry professionals, and key stakeholders
To be considered for the position of Senior Tax Manager, the following qualifications and experience are required:
Previous experience in a Tax Manager role, with a strong background and significant experience in tax management
Professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, or ACCA
Practice trained background is essential
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide practical solutions
Strong leadership and team management skills
