Sheridan Maine is proud to be partnering an established and esteemed organisation based in the Reading area.  Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its dynamic team. 
 
As the Senior Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of tax compliance and planning for a portfolio of clients.
 
Your responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering their growth and development
  • Be a key point of contact to clients regarding tax matters
  • Provision of tax expertise knowledge to clients and other stakeholders
  • Managing the preparation and review of tax returns, including corporate tax, VAT, and other relevant filings
  • Managing service delivery regarding tax related matters
  • Conducting research and staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Leading on implementing client related projects
  • Building and expanding a network of business contacts, including clients, industry professionals, and key stakeholders
 
To be considered for the position of Senior Tax Manager, the following qualifications and experience are required:
  • Previous experience in a Tax Manager role, with a strong background and significant experience in tax management
  • Professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, or ACCA
  • Practice trained background is essential
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide practical solutions
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
