As the Financial Accountant - AP & AR, you will play a proactive role in driving organisational improvement by enhancing systems, implementing effective governance practices, and overseeing and evaluating financial processes. You will have direct responsibility for specific technical tasks, while also collaborating with colleagues on various initiatives. Additionally, you will be accountable for managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures, guaranteeing accurate recording of all transactions.
 
Your responsibilities as the Financial Accountant - AP & AR will include:

• Oversee the accurate input of accounts payable/ receivable
• Review of aged debtors and creditors
• Preparation and posting of monthly journals
• Collaborate closely with the procurement team
• Management of payment runs and weekly employee expense payments
• Work with FC to bring about system improvements and streamline processes
• Production of reports
• Preparation of KPI’s

• Studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent qualification
• Management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
