Sheridan Maine is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join an established and dynamic business based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to take on a broad-ranged role and make a significant impact within the organisation.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance Director will include:

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Management of Group-wide holding companies
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure Group-wide routines, accounting and reporting
• Overall responsibility for the implementation of a new business system (Microsoft D365)
• Support for local acquisitions and integration of acquired businesses

• Relevant academic education in economics or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels
